  10. Congrats Lee Ann!!
Oh my, I almost missed it!! I was sick all over the weekend and into the beginning of the week, and then my boyfriend came to visit from late Tuesday night until yesterday evening, and I just lost track of time/days!!
But I'm still in time!! Yay!! :D
I LOVE the answers so far!!
"My heart could not protect itself from your assault (of love)."
I don't like how I worded that one....and as I read it, I'm not sure I'm making myself clear. But, my point with that one was the assault of love, being the person loving the speaker, was just too much, that the heart could not resist it, basically. I hope that makes sense!! :D But just in case it didn't...more than one answer!! lol
"My love rode off to protect us."
Not true for me, but there are PLENTY of people who can say that. And they should be proud of their significant others for sacrificing so much for them and others.
"Should I follow my head, or follow my heart?"
...something tells me I've used that song quote for another WW :P
"Love took a toll on my heart."
Okie dokes, I'm done now :)
I can't wait to see who you choose!! There are sooo many good ones, some cute, some really serious like Jana's, some in between. They are all so good!! Good luck choosing!!!!

  11. Wow, Natalie, those are some amazing answers! My hubby spent almost a year and a half in Iraq when the war first started. So, I really, really love "My love rode off to protect us." Fantastic answer! The others are really good too . . . and now I have the very hard task of choosing the winner. It's tougher than usual this week.
Hope you're feeling better! Glad you made it to WW in time!

    1. Thank you!! :)
Oh wow, that must have been so hard for the both of you. How long were you married at that point? God bless him for protecting us, and you for supporting him. That is definitely love :)
I truly don't believe in war, but I realize it is a necessary evil in this world :( But I truly respect and appreciate everything the men and women in the armed services do for us, to keep us safe. I wish there was no war, but I am glad that we have such brave people doing what they can to protect us.
My family and I watch Wheel Of Fortune every night, and the one day I said to my mom, "I think that the house minimum for anyone in the armed services/veterans should be TWO thousand instead of one thousand. They deserve at least that much."
One last thing: I am so glad that your husband returned home safely to you. God bless you both <3

    2. Our oldest daughter graduated from college while he was gone in Iraq. That was the hardest part. She left for college--and when he returned our family wasn't the same as when he left--something we didn't think about before he left. But I'm so thankful he returned! Thanks for your kind words, Natalie!

    3. Aw, that's a shame that he had to miss that, and that the family at home wasn't the same :(
But family itself is always there, so that is comforting :)
